Day 1 Coolum to Springsure 757klm.

Up early & on the road by 5.30am. Stopped for breakfest at Kilkivon where Al realised he left his wallet at home - no drivers licence or cards & no CASH. Going to get his girl to post it to Broome.

Lunch on the banks of the muddy Dawson River. A great overnight free camp for future get in early.

Our 1st camp is a freede 1.5k north of Springsure-- Virgin Rock.  Rest area . Nice spot but could be noisy.

The Kimberley Adventure

Well it is just about time again, to head off, on our next adventure. We are heading off on Thursday 30/06/11 to Broome, then up to Cape Leveque, where we are staying, for about a week.

From there we head off to Derby & then onto The Gibb Road & into The Kimberley. We are travelling with some good friends, Richard & Colleen Carberry. They have just picked up there new Quantum  it is the same as ours.What a trip to try it out on. We are away for about 3 months.
